Juliana ADDISON (Wendouree) (10:17): Happy Diwali. Diwali is one of the most beloved Indian festivals, celebrated with glowing lights, colourful decorations and a spirit of joy. Symbolising the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance, it is a time for love, light and family.

Let Diwali remind us all of the strength within to overcome any darkness. To my many friends and members of the Ballarat Indian community, happy Diwali.
