Small business experts head for Ballarat
Small businesses in Ballarat will have access to reliable and affordable information on how to grow their networks and sales when the Andrews Government’s Small Business Workshop comes to town later this month.
Last year more than 5,400 people participated in Small Business Victoria workshops right across the state, giving businesses important advice and support on starting a business, financial management and marketing.
Delivered by experienced business specialists, the workshops also give business owners an opportunity to network with other businesses.
The Labor Member for Wendouree, Juliana Addison, said the workshop – Effective business networking: Tips to connect with ease – will provide useful tips to help grow local business.
“Whether you’re thinking about starting a small business or are already well established, this workshop will give you advice you need for your business to thrive,” Ms Addison said.
“This is just one of the ways the Andrews Government is making Victoria the best state in which to grow a small business,” she said.
Small Business Victoria partners with more than 50 host organisations to deliver the affordable events, with Ballarat’s workshop hosted by Ballarat Business Centre.
The workshops have already helped thousands of prospective and established business owners get the advice they need to expand their business and grow their profits across Victoria.
The workshop will be held at Ballarat Business Centre, 15 Dawson Street South, Ballarat at 5pm on Wednesday the 21st of August, 2019.
