I am very, very pleased to be here to make a contribution and to support the Justice Legislation Amendment (Trial by Judge Alone and Other Matters) Bill 2022, a bill that supports our government’s response to COVID-19 by ensuring that the justice system continues to function not only safety but effectively during the ongoing pandemic.

New Mental Health Service for Ballarat

The Andrews Labor Government today announced that a Local Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service will be established in Ballarat and its doors will be open from mid-2023.

Ballarat Sporting Infrastructure: Adjournment Matter

I direct my adjournment matter to the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, and the action I seek is for him to provide me with an update on the Victorian government’s investment in major sporting infrastructure and events in Ballarat.
