Ms ADDISON (Wendouree) (14:11:28): What a great community event the Ballarat Brown Hill Community Festival is. It was held on Friday night and was well attended by hundreds of members of the local community.

I would really like to thank Jason, Brendan, Ron, Bernie and Sarah, and all the committee members of the Brown Hill Progress Association for all the hard work they put into putting on such a fantastic community event.

The progress association in Brown Hill is a key to the strong community that we have in Brown Hill. It is fair to say that every time the community uses the hall or the pool, when they drop their kids off at the local kindergarten or school, we can thank the dedicated members of the Brown Hill community for providing a friendly face.

Ms ADDISON: I would also like to give a quick shout-out to the Brown Hill and district senior citizens. They are 49 years young this year, and congratulations to all members.
